Change is frightening for everyone, but I think going through a midlife career change is especially scary. We are putting a lot on the line. Sometimes we focus so much on what we might lose that we forget to consider all that we can gain.
Here’s a little exercise that you can use to help you move past your fear:
1) Make a list of risks that you have taken before.
2) Pick a time when you faced down a fear and clearly recall the wonderful feeling you had when you overcame the barrier and did it anyway.
